POSITIONS AVAILABLE
TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE - Our Technical Sales Representatives work almost 100% via outbound telephone sales. However, this is NOT a "telemarketing" position. We don't use scripts. Our Reps contact potential users of our products, identify and qualify needs, propose solutions based on use of our products and justify those solutions based on the value that our products provide. They co-ordinate sampling and evaluation and then manage the on-going customer relationship. They also provide the technical support (based on training and product knowledge) to ensure continuing successful use and re-orders.
The persons we seek will have some successful business-to-business sales experience. Candidates need to be comfortable with conducting a professional selling process over the telephone, comfortable with learning the characteristics of an industrial product line and comfortable with use of computer-based sales tracking programs.
We offer a thorough training program and established territories with an active account base, plus active marketing programs that generate leads. Our company has good name-recognition in our industry and our products are respected for their quality and effectiveness.
This is an INSIDE SALES position. Compensation includes:
• A base salary appropriate to this type of position (in the $40's, commensurate with experience) plus incentive programs.
• Company paid major medical insurance for the employee (shared-premium coverage for dependents).
• A tax-deferred retirement plan with company contribution (SIMPLE-IRA type).
• Two weeks paid vacation after one year of service.
• Seven paid holidays annually.
The position is located at our main office in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
